Barbara Delaporta Alexander
The 2nd-born of the 4 sisters.
Married Tom Alexander. First of the 4 to have a child. Bore into the world, Lucia and Vivian.
Died too young and totally unexpectedly of a Brain Hemorrage in 1961.
Writes Timothy: I was about 19 or 20 years old when I recall asking my mother about her. She said, "Oh you were the new baby in the family soon before she died. She loved you. I remember her holding you. Then it all happened so fast. It was so sad; we were all very upset. Our only way of getting through it was that we were all so busy with our families and all the needs of our kids. Of course, there was the whole issue of what to do with Lucia and Vivian."
"What about Nona and Little Pa Pou. How did they take it."
"Oh they were expremely depressed, both of them, for a long time. I think they each carried the sorrow with them all their days."
Thea Corny and Uncle Goegre's youngest daughter was brought into the world 2 years later. Their Barbie was named after her Late-Aunt.
